In the frenzy before Christmas, two single parents accidentally mix up their toys at a crowded department store. As a result, both of their Christmases appear to be ruined. A Twist in the Tale is a 1998 TV series starring William Shatner. Willam Shatner's A Twist In The Tale was a 15 episode short lived television series in the late 1990s. Every week the narrator/host would have a group of children he would tell a story to. The main children were always in the story itself.

Ji Yeon is a beautiful university student, majoring in music. She is dating Dong Seok, but Dong Seok’s parents want him to study abroad. The day before he is scheduled to leave South Korea to study abroad, he prepares a proposal event for Ji Yeon. Ji Yeon does not appear at the event.

A series of murders at a hotel (plus some missing money) has the police investigating the hotel staff. However, someone has actually been possessed by a ghost. After thinking they've driven out the evil spirit, a family takes possession of the property and move in, but the spirit returns.
